I’ve always dreamed about owning a gourmet deli business, and a couple of years ago I finally took the plunge and set one up. Initially, my focus was purely on selling deli food – the very best in seasonal, exceptional and delicious deli food, I might add! Soon, the deli became popular and we decided to expand, offering table service as well.

Since then, the business has grown even more and we now use the premises as a meeting hub for clients who want to get the best out of social media for their business.

But while my dream for a successful deli business was coming true, it quickly became clear that I didn’t have the time, headspace, or inclination for all the boring stuff (aka, running the books and keeping my accounts in check). And this is where Mark and his team came to the rescue.

I can’t tell you how much they have helped by reviewing my business and taking the financial side of things away from me. For example, now I don’t have to worry about payroll and I’m able to plan ahead when it comes to paying tax. This means I can focus on building my business for the benefit of my clients.

Mark and his team are more than just accountants. They’re real people who understand the challenges other real people (like me and you) face when setting up and running their own business. Looking back, I honestly don’t know how I would have done it without them. I’m happy, my customers are happy, and my business is continuing to grow. My dream is on track.
